CONCRETE DENSIFIER

  • Is a chemical applied to a concrete in order to fill pores, increasing surface density

  • Help prevent concrete from dusting

  • Non-toxic

  • Eco-Friendly

  • Densifier usually consist of either lithium, potassium, or sodium silicate. The lithium, potassium or sodium portion of the chemical make up is used to transfer the silicate into the concrete. When silicate makes contact with calcium hydroxide, which is commonly referred to as free lime, located with concrete substrate, it is transformed and creates crystalline structure. This crystalline structure helps to add strength and abrasion resistance to the concrete surface.
